Trails and Education

Twice a year we open the farm to the public welcoming visitors of all ages to see how we rear and care for our organic herds of cattle and sheep. We are always happy to chat about the farm and our meat with you. There are two farm trails/ walks which are open all year round, ( please see map below ). Guides are available from the shop.

Wildlife conservation is important to us. The farm has a wealth of bird and plant life, which we aim to protect and enhance trough careful management under the countryside Stewardship Scheme and guidance from the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group. We are an RSPB Volunteer farm.

We have also just started a programme of school education days for students of all ages; these will include farm tours, lectures, detailed photographs about organic farming, wild life and animal husbandry, Please contact us if you are interested in organising a visit.
